State Licensed Data Security Counsel

A company is looking for a Director, Security Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

Provide legal advice on global data security legislation and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations

Support cybersecurity investigations and data privacy incident responses, including breach notifications

Enhance the global Trust program through policy enforcement, employee training, and compliance monitoring

Required Qualifications

Juris Doctor and active membership in at least one state bar

10+ years of relevant legal experience focused on cybersecurity and incident response

Expertise in US and global data security laws and regulations

Knowledge of cybersecurity certifications such as FedRAMP, SOC2, and ISO

Experience representing technology and cloud-based companies
