Family Planning Medical Assistant Position

Westchester Medical Center

Locations : Valhalla, NY & Mamaroneck, NY

Hours : M-F, 8 : 30 AM – 4.30 PM

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Westchester Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Family Planning Medical Assistant to join our Division of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery & Complex Family Planning. This is an employed position with comprehensive benefits.

We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about providing all aspects of reproductive healthcare, including abortion care.

Job Responsibilities

• Clinical functions such as patient rooming, intake, vital signs, venipuncture, medical charting, assisting clinicians during exams and procedures
• In coordination with licensed staff, provides patient follow-up on lab results and referrals
• Provides pregnancy testing, information and referral, schedules patients for follow-up appointments
• Basic office functions such as stocking supplies, billing and coding, routine insurance data entry
• Cleaning and maintaining medical equipment and supplies, including sterilization of reusable materials
