We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Torrance, California. This role involves overseeing key financial processes, managing accounts, and collaborating with various departments to enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach to driving financial accuracy and process improvements.

Responsibilities :

• Manage month-end closing activities, including preparation of journal entries and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
• Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions to ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and address chargebacks efficiently.
• Collaborate with international accounting teams to streamline intercompany transactions.
• Utilize Microsoft Dynamics GP for financial reporting and process optimization.
• Lead efforts to enhance accounting processes and systems, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
• Provide financial insights and collaborate with department leaders to support strategic decision-making.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering growth and development.
• Ensure accurate reporting and support audits as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within inventory-based or similar industries.
• Proficiency in month-end close processes, general ledger reconciliation, and financial analysis.
• Hands-on experience with cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and chargeback management.
• Strong knowledge of international accounting and intercompany transactions is highly desirable.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics GP is required.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams while remaining detail-oriented and adaptable.
