Summary : Assist in the daily operation of the branch under the supervision of the Branch Operations Manager within the guidance and directives as determined by Branch Administration.
Education and Experience : High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of four (4) years of branch banking to include at least two (2) years of experience as a paying and receiving teller working directly with the public, and a minimum of two (2) years functioning in a new accounts position either in the primary or back-up role.
With prior branch teller and new accounts experience, position responsibilities include but not limited to :
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Processing paying and receiving transactions.
- Daily teller cash reconciliation and teller drawer balancing.
- Prepare and process internal and external customer account transfer requests.
- Prepare outgoing wire transfer requests.
- Answer and respond to telephone inquiries.
- Run and prepare daily reports for supervisor review.
- Daily balancing of branch cash.
- Assist in preparing outgoing shipments and change orders.
- Vault cash processing and daily balancing.
- New Account callback as assigned by supervisor.
- Back-up new accounts as needed.
- Process checks and deposit slip orders and reorders from customers.
- Assist in processing address and customer information changes.
- Assist in processing branch teller proof work to include encoding and scanning.
- Assist supervisor in branch cross-training as assigned.
