Candidates must hold the necessary board certifications, licenses, and additional certifications in advanced life support.

D / UC Locums Illinois Position Details :

Location : 1 hr 30 min South Chicago / 90 miles south

Duration : Immediately and ongoing to - June 30 (potential to extend)

Schedule : 8a-8a, 24 hr shifts

Shift : 24 hrs. Flexible in terms of shifts per month / scheduling based on your availability

Patient volume : 350 / month in ED & 375 / month in prompt care (urgent care)

Scope : Routine ED , we are not a trauma level so we stabilize and transfer out. We also have Prompt Care (urgent care) that is adjacent to the ED and covered by the ED staff & physicians.

EMR : athena

Hospital : 60 bed, short term acute care hospital

Group / support : nurses & unit secretaries

Requirements (boards, license) : must be board eligible, board certified preferred, IL license, IL CSR & DEA, ACLS & PALS, ATLS preferred
