Dialysis Services Director
The Dialysis Services Director is responsible for the operations of enterprise dialysis services for Intermountain Health and reports to the Assistant Vice President of Kidney Services. This role will ensure that dialysis services are in accordance with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Joint Commission, and State Department of Health treatment standards and practices. This position is an enterprise leadership role that facilitates, coordinates and directs the dialysis program operations relative to implementation of enterprise strategies, team development programs, financial operations and compliance initiatives. This leader utilizes the Intermountain Operating Model and adheres to the Clinical Shared Services model.
Essential Functions
- Participates in and contributes to the enterprise strategic planning process, day-to-day operations, standard of care, and attainment of organized goals for dialysis programs.
- Advocates for and allocates available resources to promote efficient, effective, safe and compassionate patient care based on current standards of practice for dialysis services.
- Facilitates collaborative problem solving among interdepartmental disciplines.
- Assists in the development and implementation of Dialysis Services capital and operating budgets.
- Collaborates and partners with local care site leaders on care site and enterprise initiatives.
- Ensures enterprise performance and compliance with patient safety initiatives, federal, state and other regulatory bodies such as Joint Commission, OSHA, CMS, DOPL and other dialysis specific accrediting and certifying bodies.
- Assists in the development of policies and procedures to ensure dialysis regulatory compliance for dialysis programs.
- Monitors and improves patient satisfaction utilizing available service metrics and national benchmarks to develop and implement action plans to achieve desired outcomes in service excellence goals.

This plan enables Intermountain Health to provide leaders with an additional performance compensation opportunity. The AP4P award opportunities are calculated as a percentage of your base salary. Awards are paid out based on attainment of selected Board-approved goals.
