Bar Back
JOB DESCRIPTION : BAR BACKS PLAY DATE
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Stocking the Bars with beer, liquor, wine, and mixers
- Stocking the Bars with ice
- Stocking the bars with cups, straws, and napkins.
- Juicing fresh fruit for cocktail recipes
- Cutting fruit for drink garnishes
- Running food from the kitchen to the bars and tables and serving the food to the guests.
- Ensuring that the guest's food was delivered correctly.
- Stocking flatware and condiments for food service
- Bussing tables and bars of dirty dishes, empty beer bottles, and glassware.
- Wiping down and sanitizing tables after guests leave a table.
- Assisting with opening and closing duties including, but not limited to, restocking the bar with all necessary items, cleaning the bar, mopping, etc.
- Removing trash from behind the bars and throughout the bar and emptied in the trash receptacle outside.

and talk or hear. The bar back is required to reach with hands and arms. The bar back must occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.

Bar backs are also occasionally exposed to wet and / or humid conditions when in the dish area or walk-in cooler. Additionally, bar backs may be exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals when cleaning.
