Description

Reporting into the Chief Estimator and head of Preconstruction, the Senior Estimator - Commercial Construction will be responsible for the following :

• Responsible for handling the bid process
• Lead a complete project cost evaluation
• Develop detailed scopes of work
• Understanding of differential pricing and when to use different unit costs
• Ability to assemble and present a complete presentation
• Ability to prepare detailed conceptual cost estimates and conceptual cost studies
• Participate in client meetings and actively present and review estimates
• Develop and build relationships with local subcontractor market

Profile

The successful Senior Estimator - Commercial Construction will have the following attributes :

• 8+ Years of Estimating and Preconstruction Experience
• Experience as an Estimator on large Commercial projects - $5M-10M+
• A Bachelor's Degree in a construction-related-field is preferred
• Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities
• Local to Phoenix preferred but relocators will be considered as well
