We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Monmouth County, New Jersey. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who excels in managing financial records, reconciliations, and administrative tasks. The role requires proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities :
- Utilize QuickBooks Desktop to perform full charge bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accurate financial records.
- Conduct detailed reconciliations for bank, custodial, and brokerage accounts.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including bill payments and expense tracking.
- Handle administrative duties such as organizing travel arrangements, coordinating reservations, and managing correspondence.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure seamless communication and support.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of the role.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data with careful attention to detail.
- Assist with financial reporting and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting-related roles.
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations and financial transaction management.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Comfortable working directly with executives and clients while maintaining a focus on detail.
- High level of reliability, discretion, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
