Job descriptionFinancial Record Management : Maintain and update accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries. Bank Reconciliation : Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure smooth financial operations. Budgeting and Reporting : Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, and provide insights for budgeting and forecasting. Invoice Management : Generate, review, and manage invoices, ensuring timely payment from clients and vendors. Compliance : Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements, including tax filings and reporting. Expense Tracking : Monitor and categorize expenses related to projects and operational Costs. Collaboration : Work closely with project managers, the operations team, and external accountants during audits or tax preparation. Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably in a construction or remodeling industry. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
