Job Opportunity : Access Controller

Valiant is looking for an Access Controller to join our team! Essential duties and responsibilities include confirming the security status of all individuals who enter the building and issuing the required badge. The guard is responsible for reporting any irregularities or problems to the Site Manager for resolution. They will update and maintain an accurate security clearance list when provided by the appropriate authorities. During weekends, the guard will make hourly rounds of the facility and is responsible for the cleanliness of the guard station. Willingness to work any shift required, including weekend duty as needed, is essential. Other tasks will be assigned by the Site Manager or his designated representative.

Pay Rate : The rate for this position is $19.86 plus pay in lieu of time off per CBA. However, Valiant considers several factors, including but not limited to market data, business considerations, internal equity, the role and responsibilities of the position, a candidate's work experience, education, and training, when extending an offer.

Benefits : This position includes a competitive benefits package. The provision of benefits is outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

Education Requirements : High School diploma or equivalent certification.

Clearance Requirements : Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level clearance. Active Secret preferred. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions given in English. Must present a professional appearance in dress and demeanor at all times. Must be able to work well with all levels of Military and Civilian personnel. Must be computer literate and be able to use and access basic computer programs (Microsoft products, Excel, PDF, etc.). Ability to obtain a US Passport. Possess a valid driver's license.

Physical Requirements : Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting, ascending, and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees.
