Part-Time Bookkeeper
We are looking for a detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Sebastopol, California. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a variety of financial tasks efficiently. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring accurate record-keeping and smooth financial operations for the organization.
Responsibilities :
- Record and manage bills, deposits, and invoices within the accounting system.
- Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial data.
- Submit payments and deposits to appropriate county offices in a timely manner.
- Verify employee timesheets and process payroll with precision.
- Oversee employee benefit accounts and maintain personnel files.
- Update and manage vendor information while tracking accounts payable and receivable.
- Follow up on aging accounts to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Generate monthly invoices for project managers' review and approval.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and streamline administrative processes.
Requirements :
