Job Summary :

This individual will be required to perform day-to-day operations in the Tool Room. Duties include but are not limited to tool and equipment requisitions, checking tools in and returning them from projects, and restocking consumable supplies. Work with a team and independently to pull orders, stock tools / consumables, and achieve goals.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

Daily

• Check tools in and out to construction jobs via handheld scanner, IPad and / or PC
• Monitor tools and stock daily to ensure products are available when needed
• Return tools to the appropriate location upon inspection and maintain organizational standards
• Operate a stand-up forklift
• Identify and replace damaged barcodes
• Properly barcode new tools and provide relevant information for input into tool management software
• Speak with foremen and other team members clearly about order issues and concerns
• Assist with quarterly tool room inventories
• Load and unload tools onto trucks and / or trailers
• Maintain clean workspace through adherence to 5S principles.
• Submit time ticket weekly for approval
