Grit Resources is looking for a Shop Technician to join an exciting company here in the OKC area! The Technician works primarily with assembly and will be building equipment for the different jobs that this company is needed on.

Shop Technician Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assembly of new equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and procedures.
- Execute general shop maintenance such as cleanup of shop, work area and equipment.
- Preparation of Equipment for Transport
- Clean, assemble, test, and paint Wellhead and Frac equipment.
- Perform duties for QHSE as related to safety and quality, training of personnel, safety & quality reports, logs, etc.
Shop Technician Skills and Requirements :
- Working knowledge of mechanical assemblies and basic hand tools
- Ability to read, write and communicate well.
- Basic computer knowledge
- Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling objects that are 50 pounds or less.
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of related experience
