1st Shift : 6 : 00 am- 2 : 30 pm

Must be flexible to work other shifts if needed)

Base Pay Rate $, with an additional $ premium upon completion of training and / or licensing Weekly pay period

Who You Are & What You’ll Do

As the Stationary Engineer / Wastewater you will maintain the Boiler Room and ammonia system.

Operate and maintain stationary engines and mechanical equipment, such as steam engines and steam boilers to provide utilities or power for buildings and industrial processes.

Reading meters, gages, or automatic recording devices to determine operating conditions of equipment.

Adjust controls if necessary and inspect equipment to detect malfunctions or the need for repair, adjustment, or lubrication.

Record data obtained from instrument readings, such as temperatures, hours of operation, amount of fuel used, water levels and pressure.

Adheres to safety guidelines in all performance duties.

Maintains waste treatment plant, analyzing wastewater for fats, oils, and grease and applying chemicals.

Responsible for controlling the treatment of wastewater and sludge through the operation of pumps, motors, and valves.

Monitors the performance of wastewater unit processes by a variety of methods through visual observation, physical measurement, sampling, testing, data collection / analysis, and mathematical calculations through computer analysis.

Collects samples from various plant flows and unit processes for laboratory analysis and adheres to safety guidelines in performing work.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

High School diploma & 5 years of related experience

Ability to read, write and comprehend English; ability to follow oral and written instructions.

Stationary Engineer License (Required)
