Job descriptionCoordinate and oversee the completion of Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments in compliance with federal and state regulations. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of resident assessments and care plans. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans that meet resident needs. Monitor quality measures and assist with facility performance improvement initiatives. Provide education and support to nursing staff regarding MDS processes and documentation requirements. Maintain compliance with CMS guidelines and facility policies. Serve as a resource for clinical staff to ensure proper documentation and coding. Participate in audits, surveys, and meetings as required. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington state (or compact license). Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MDS Coordinator in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility. Strong knowledge of MDS 3.0, RAI process, and Medicare / Medicaid regulations. Current BLS certification (American Heart Association). Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred. Riverfront Park – Iconic downtown park featuring walking trails, Spokane Falls, and the historic Pavilion.
