As a member of the global sales team, the contracts specialist will assume a strategic role in the software sales division with primary day-to-day responsibility for creating, tracking, and managing software sales and services contracts primarily in North America. This position will supplement the efforts and responsibilities of the global contracts team and work closely with sales, services and sales operations teams related to contract activity.

Key responsibilities include :

• Draft software sales and services agreements based on standard contract principles.
• Draft reseller and software use agreements as necessary for global channel partners.
• Review existing contracts, purchase orders, and proposals to facilitate writing new orders.
• Update customer files with contract data.
• Create, track and manage changes outside of the standard agreement terms.
• Ability to create contract variations based on prior agreements.
• Use MS Office, SalesForce, Conga, and SharePoint to track and manage contracts.
• Provide back-up to other team members, including director of global contracts, as necessary.
• Negotiate acceptable terms and conditions as necessary, keeping in mind company's risk profile and intellectual property.
• Coordinating proposals and RFP responses in a project manager role, while also ensuring proposals meet InEight's risk compliance requirements.
• Drafting contract notices and termination letters.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 : 2015 procedures and US trade and export restrictions.
