Safety Manager For Multifamily Projects

Our client is a nationally recognized general contractor with a proven track record in multifamily and mixed-use developments. Known for their commitment to quality and safety, they are expanding their team for a major ground-up project in Richmond, VA.

Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and procedures

Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments

Lead safety training sessions and toolbox talks for field personnel

Ensure compliance with OSHA, company policies, and local regulations

Investigate incidents and near misses, and implement corrective actions

Maintain accurate safety documentation and reporting

Collaborate with project leadership and subcontractors to promote safety

Serve as the primary point of contact for all safety-related matters on site

A successful Safety Manager should have :

• 5+ years of safety management experience in construction
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety practices
• CSP, CHST, or OSHA 30 / 500 certification preferred
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Experience with multifamily or large-scale commercial projects a plus

Competitive salary range estimated between $90,000 and $110,000 annually.
