Accounting Manager

Our client is a portfolio company that specializes in the acquisition of hyper-niche software companies that fit narrow but mission-critical use cases for business customers.
The company is experiencing rapid growth through acquisitions and organic growth and is looking for a motivated, energized, and high-achieving Accounting Manager to support the growth of the company.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager :
- Manage accounting operations for multiple entities
- Oversee the accounting close process and preparation of monthly financial statements
- Implement ASC 606 and maintain deep knowledge of software revenue recognition practices
- Utilize NetSuite across multiple legal entities and currencies
- Liaise with auditors and support the annual financial statement audit process
- Conduct financial analyses and provide ad hoc reporting as needed
- Mentor junior accountants and delegate responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of annual PCAOB Audit
- Design and implement internal controls and accounting policies
- Adapt to evolving processes within the portfolio
Requirements of the Accounting Manager :
- Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- 5+ years of accounting experience or 2+ years of prior Accounting Manager experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP Accounting standards
- Experience with ASC 606 at a SaaS company
- Proficiency in NetSuite
- Experience with Maxio / SaasOptics (preferred)
- Familiarity with foreign subsidiaries (preferred)
- Proficient in Excel
- Experience managing relationships with external auditors
- Problem-solving skills
- Exceptional organizational, time-management, and prioritization abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill
