Nisga'a CIOPS provides hands-on experienced services to civilian and DoD programs worldwide. Delivering highly skilled, cleared personnel who provide services on five continents for a portfolio of customers.
Summary
The Sr. Network Administrator will lead or supervises in the development and maintenance of network communications. Uses knowledge of LAN / WAN systems to help design and install internal and external networks. Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements.
Essential Job Functions
- Leads various Tier I and Tier II service desk duties.
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of LAN / WAN and other network systems.
- Supervise and mentor junior network administrators and service desk personnel.
- Perform network performance tuning, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
- Conduct network testing and evaluation to identify and eliminate issues and improve efficiency.
- Maintain and update network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure network security and compliance with organizational policies.
- Manage and support firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and other network hardware / software.
- Plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and expansions.
- Monitor network usage and performance using appropriate tools and generate reports for management.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing and switching, firewalls, and VPN technologies.Familiarity with network monitoring tools.Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage service desk operations.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.Minimum Qualifications : (Note : keep as plain text within allowed tags)
At least 8 years of experience in the field or in a related areaIAT Level II CertificationExperienced with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsMust have active TS / SCIPreferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.Experience working in federal or defense environments.Knowledge of DevSecOps, containerization, and automation toolsIndustry standard technical and network certifications.Pay and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $104,000.00 to $117,000.00 annually.
