Our 100+ year old client with locations worldwide is seeking a talented Maintenance Mechanic to join its facility in Charlotte, NC.

This a full-time, first shift position with our client and includes an excellent benefit package. This "Total Rewards" package includes healthcare options, 401k, PTO, Tuition Reimbursments and more.

The chosen Maintenance Mechanic will completing preventative, predictive, and reactive industrial maintenance throughout the facility using tools such as power tools, basic hand tools, electric tools, precision maintenance tools, preventative maintenance technology tools, etc. The chosen candidate will also have past experience operating forklifts,, loaders, scissor lifts and aerial lifts.

Ideal Candidates should...

• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Must be 18 years or older
• Demonstrate experience in 1 or 2 maintenance trades and components (ex. electrical, welding, pipefitting, fabrication, gearbox and bearing maintenance, lubrication, pumps and piping systems, mechanical maintenance, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems).
• Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
• Possess basic computer skills
• Ability to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends, or different shifts with advance notice
