Human Resources Generalist

How You'll Make an Impact
- Advise management and employees on human resources policies and employment law while developing new programs that address evolving organizational needs
- Anticipate and plan for long-term workforce trends in collaboration with business leaders to support strategic objectives
- Administer company policies and ensure consistent, equitable application across your designated area
- Conduct employee relations activities including conflict resolution, counseling and investigations into sensitive workplace matters
- Manage employee performance issues, support termination requests and lead exit interview processes
- Oversee administration of leave programs, benefits open enrollment and compliance with safety regulations and workers compensation
- Deliver training to employees and supervisors on benefits, policies, procedures and workplace practices such as harassment prevention
- Maintain timely and accurate HRIS and payroll entries, ensure compliance with recordkeeping standards and assist with audit and budget planning activities
Working Conditions

Required Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field or equivalent experienceExperience : 5+ years of human resources generalist experienceSkills
Ability to communicate clearly with all levels of management and employees in writing and verballyAbility to handle confidential information professionallyCapacity to prioritize, organize and accomplish tasks independently and under pressureDemonstrated proficiency with PC and MS Office applicationsStrong judgment, initiative and problem-solving capabilitiesKnowledge of local, state and federal employment laws and proceduresUnderstanding of recruitment trends and technologiesFamiliarity with wage and hour regulationsKnowledge of staffing, employment and employee relations practicesConsultative, coaching, analytical and project management skillsBusiness acumenKnowledge of cable television products and services is an advantagePreferred Qualifications

The base pay for this position generally is between $81,960.00 and $130,920.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
