Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate Sheet Metal Components : Cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using shears, brakes, rollers, and forming equipment.
• Read and Interpret Drawings : Accurately produce components based on blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
• Operate Machinery : Safely use CNC and manual equipment, including punch presses, lasers, and welding machines.
• Welding and Joining : Perform MIG, TIG, stick welding, and mechanical fastening of sheet metal components.
• Precision Measurement : Use calipers, tape measures, and micrometers to ensure tolerances and specifications.
• Assemble Products : Align and join parts into final assemblies or sub-assemblies per plans.
• Conduct Quality Checks : Inspect fabricated parts for accuracy, fit, finish, and overall quality.
• Maintain Tools & Machines : Clean, repair, and maintain fabrication equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Material Selection : Choose sheet metal type, thickness, and finish based on project needs.
• Team Collaboration : Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other fabricators to improve efficiency.
• Safety Compliance : Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines; use PPE at all times.
• Inventory Management : Track material usage and report inventory needs.
• Troubleshooting : Resolve fabrication issues and recommend solutions for production improvements.
• Documentation : Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any deviations.
