- Proficiency in Cardiac required
- Must be willing to float to similar units required
- EKG comfortability required
Description :
The Registered Nurse uses clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat patient responses to actual or potential health conditions.
The RN is a critical member of the unit responsible for the care of cardiology patients.
Procedures include PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, and bi-ventricular pacemakers.
The unit specializes in the care of patients with congestive heart failure and electrophysiology studies.
The unit also manages many national clinical trials.
The leadership and colleagues work together as a team to demonstrate top performance in care, efficiency, and community value.
There is a strict attendance policy advocating for patient populations.
Any RN who is absent from a scheduled shift or is more than 20 minutes late for their scheduled shift three times will face immediate termination.
Situations such as communicable diseases or hospitalization with supporting evidence will be reviewed in favor of the RN.
This policy will take effect on a specified date.
