Job Summary

The Avionics Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting and / or performing needed repairs to aircraft systems utilizing test equipment and hand tools to return aircraft to service per FAA and manufacturers specifications.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Learns and assists with routine avionics installations and repairs on general aviation aircraft
• Ensures proper care of customer property through all phases of work
• Accurately completes required paperwork and work order details in Corridor
• Continually keeps clean and organized work area including personal tool box
• Meets or beats flat rates for assigned tasks
• Understands and follows safety procedures, and utilizes support equipment in a safe manner to accomplish work
• Responsible for completing training syllabus for advancement to next level
• Performs other duties as directed
