As a Security Professional - Tech Desk Patrol in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more.

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will be the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and guests. Your primary responsibilities will include managing access control, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming presence while assisting with security-related inquiries. You will help to deter incidents by maintaining a visible and approachable demeanor, utilizing your customer service skills to address questions and support the needs of those entering the facility. This role is ideal for individuals who are comfortable using computers or tablets and enjoy interacting with people in a dynamic environment. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet visitors, employees, and guests in a professional manner while monitoring access to the front desk area.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering the location, following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Assist with visitor management, including logging guests and issuing badges as required by site protocols.
• Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client representatives regarding security-related matters.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting with directions or information as needed.
• Support emergency response activities at the front desk, following established protocols for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
