Sr. Lifecycle Marketing Consultant
This is a hands on individual contributor role with strategy. Report directly to CEO / CMO. Company Size : Start Up. 6 Month contract with opportunity to extend or convert to full-time. 40 hours a week, paid weekly - W2 (No 1099 or C2C). Hybrid 3 days in Chicago, IL OR Austin, TX OR New York City, NY.
Required Qualifications :
- Previous experience using Mailchimp
- 6+ years of Email Marketing / Email Operations Experience
- Experience working in a start up environment or company of size smaller than 500 employees.
Key Responsibilities
Email Execution & Cross-Platform Orchestration (55%)Architect unified email experiences across multiple SaaS platformsCreate seamless user journeys preventing email conflicts across all touchpointsDevelop sophisticated suppression and frequency coordination strategiesEnsure brand consistency across platforms you don't fully controlDesign abandoned cart, browse abandonment, and post-purchase sequencesConversion Execution & Growth Strategy (40%)Own account signup optimization and list growth strategyDesign progressive profiling frameworks for enhanced targeting without frictionOptimize signup flows, landing pages, and onboarding sequencesExecute growth experiments and A / B tests across acquisition funnelImplement and optimize conversion toolsTechnical Infrastructure & Operations Execution (10%)Evaluate current MailChimp setup and potential platform migrationsManage APIs, webhooks, and data flows across platformsCollaborate with content, product, and engineering teamsStrategic Marketing Growth (5%)Influence broader marketing strategy based on email insightsTake on additional marketing initiatives as you demonstrate valuePay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
