Job description

Sales Development Representative

We are seeking an enthusiastic Outside Sales Representative responsible for generating leads, building relationships with potential clients, and closing sales deals. You will be tasked with meeting sales targets and expanding our client base.

Responsibilities :

  • Build and maintain a network of sources to identify new sales leads.
  • Communicate with customers and leads to understand their product or service needs and suggest suitable products and services.
  • Demonstrate the functions and utility of products or services to meet customer needs.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management, resolving any post-sale issues.
  • Maintain communication with existing and previous customers, informing them of new products, services, and enhancements.
  • Keep detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and customer or vendor relationships.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills :

  • Proficiency in sales, outbound calls, and cold calling.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM.
  • Strong customer relations and sales skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related field OR at least five years of related experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
  • Capability to lift 15 pounds occasionally.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Work Environment :

    The home base is the Wilsonville office, but the role requires a flexible work schedule with fieldwork to build relationships. Travel is required approximately twice a quarter to locations on the West Coast, including Boise, Phoenix, Texas, and some areas in California. The team comprises three outside sales team members and two inside sales representatives. The outside sales team focuses on outreach and bringing in business, while the inside sales team maintains service and collaborates with the engineering team on designs. You will start with several accounts based on current relationships and skill level. The team has a supportive, family-like atmosphere with opportunities for shadowing and training.

    Job Type & Location :

    This is a Permanent position based out of Wilsonville, Oregon.

    Pay and Benefits :

    The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00 / yr. medical, dental, vision, 401k, commissions (3% on sales) uncapped, family-like environment, supportive and flexible.

    Workplace Type :

    This is a hybrid position in Wilsonville, OR.
