Position : Car wash attendant

Department : ISP

Location : 8500 E. 21st Street., Indianapolis, IN 46219

Duration : 6 Months

  • Work schedule is 8-4 : 30 pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch. Work week is 37.5 hours .
  • Fleet maintenance support by routinely cleaning the exterior / interior of vehicles issued by Field Support Services (FSS).
  • Hand-wash the exterior of all Field Support Services (FSS) pool cars on an as-needed basis, or at least twice a month
  • Clean the interior of all FSS pool cars at least once a month
  • On a quarterly basis, hand-wax all FSS pool cars
  • Assist FSS Installation in the preparation of FSS new / re-issue commissions for issuance

On an as-needed basis, hand-wash the dirt and grime collected on new / re-issued cars that have been sitting on the lot for an extended time.

  • This process is necessary in an attempt to protect the State Police's investment
