Duties and Responsibilities :

Perform cooking process as designed and according to batch sheets.

o Addition of ingredients, following heating and cooling steps)

• Check and verify sauce thickness and temperatures according to batch sheet and cooking process.
• Know and follow all Human and Food Safety requirements.
• Perform kettle setup.
• Communicate issues with kettles to Lead or Supervisor.

o (Ingredient issues, vacuum issues, etc.)

Properly complete batch sheets, MCP checks and SSOPs

Human safety, Food safety and Paperwork requirements :

• Complete other paperwork as requested
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP’S)
• Follow all plant and area safety rules and regulations
• Follow all plant rules and polices

Physical requirements :

• Able to stand 8-10 hours per day
• Able to bend or lift 8-10 hours per day
• Able to do repetitive wrist motions / demonstrate good range of motion in wrists
• Able to work overtime as required
• Able to lift up to 25-35 lbs. frequently and 45-50 occasionally
• Must be able to adhere to hot / cold environments

Qualifications :

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Understanding of food manufacturing GMP’s
• Ability to function well under pressure
• Demonstrated proficiency in communication and documentation skills
• Honest and job committed
• Strong math and reading skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, team player
