ASSEMBLER

Job Title : ASSEMBLER

Department : MANUFACTURING

Reports To : MANUFACTURING MANAGER

Job Duties and Responsibilities :

• Utilize assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists
• Gather necessary parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
• Assemble and test components per instructions
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Comply with all applicable procedures, rules, and regulations
• Document actions by completing required production and quality forms
• Other duties as responsibilities necessitate

Job Qualifications : US Citizenship is required per DoD requirements

Education : HS Diploma or equivalent

Experience :

Mechanical experience related to component assembly and test

Forklift experience

Work independently and in groups to identify and resolve issues

Positive attitude with team mentality

US Navy experience a plus

Salary : $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Physical and Mental Efforts :

General : Extensive mobility required, some moderate to heavy lifting. Position requires ability to lift objects weighing more than 50 pounds occasionally; walking and standing for long durations; see objects closely; and hear normal sounds with some background noises. Position requires ability to concentrate with some interruption and attend to tasks for 45 to 60 minutes at a time.

Environmental and Working Conditions :

Industrial shop setting. Dust, dirt, metal debris from manufacturing will be encountered. Moderate levels of noise will be encountered.
