Job description

Certified Medical Assistant / Medical Assistant / CMA

Responsibilities :

Assisting with rooming patients, administering injections / immunizations, and collecting lab specimens
Providing phone and front-desk support
Assisting with prescription refills and prior authorizations
Performing phlebotomy, x-rays (if certified), and clinic lab tests

Qualifications :

High school diploma or GED

Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES-accredited Medical Assistant program

Current BLS certification

Previous clinical experience preferred

Willingness to take x-ray operator exam (if needed)
