As Nurse Administrator, you will manage patient care delivery across all hospital units (adult medical / surgical, critical care, oncology, cardiac, women's, pediatrics and emergency services) during night shifts as well as weekends, holidays and evenings shifts serving as a clinical resource and administrator in the absence of and in partnership with unit / hospital leaders or when care-related, patient experience, quality, engagement and operational efficiency issues arise.

This is alternating 2- 3 shifts per month per diem position with Evening / Night and weekend and Holiday Coverage at New York-Presbyterian / Weill Cornell Hospital.

Preferred Criteria

Demonstrated leadership skills as a charge nurse

Previous leadership position / experience

Active membership in professional organization

Certification in Nursing (clinical or administrative, strongly preferred)

Required Criteria

At least three years of acute care RN experience

Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field

Current New York State RN license

ACLS, BCLS certification through AHA

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
