Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher opportunity is available within a supportive elementary education setting serving K-12 students. This full-time, contract position is designed to provide personalized instruction to a self-contained classroom of 610 students with diverse learning needs. Working in a collaborative and well-resourced environment, the teacher will partner closely with a certified LBS1 co-teacher and a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), supported by strong administrative and instructional leadership.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each students unique learning needs
• Collaborate regularly with the LBS1 co-teacher, SLP, and other support staff to ensure cohesive instruction and student progress
• Deliver instruction aligned with district curriculum and individualized goals utilizing inclusive and differentiated teaching methods
• Maintain effective classroom management within a self-contained setting
• Participate actively in team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance instructional practices
