Cardiovascular Clinical RN- Cardio Clinic Services

The BH Clinic RN assists physician's with examinations and procedures to serve the medical needs of patients with various cardiac related health conditions in a professional, confidential, and caring manner. Coordinates the flow of patients, phone calls, lab work, and nurse visits to facilitate quality patient care and customer service goals. Provides professional nursing care as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with the Nebraska Nurse Practice Act, any applicable licensure / certification requirement and organizational policies and procedures.

• Performs nursing and other patient care activities to ensure the physical and psychological well-being of the patient.
• Screens patients for appropriate information to insure EHR is up to date.

12. Assist Bryan Heart with pre-authorizations, release of information requests, FMLA certification, etc.

15. Manages work hours, supplies, and other clinical costs in line with fiscal responsibility and budget.

16. Attends meetings and participates on committees as assigned.

17. Performs other tasks assigned by physicians and management.

18. Assist provider in both Lincoln and Outreach Clinic sites.

Graduation from an accredited Registered Nursing program required. Current licensure as a RN in the State of Nebraska required. BSN preferred. Minimum of one- year nursing experience required, clinic nursing preferred. Current Basic Life support (BLS) certification required. May be required to obtain licensure as an RN in Kansas.
