Position Summary
The internship offers unique hands-on experience where you can utilize coursework and existing knowledge in an association environment.
The intern will assist industry economists in data collection, interpretation, and analysis of construction / economic trends.
The candidate will largely be responsible for two major projects throughout the program including : update of PCA's regional industry model, as well as gathering and compiling statistics for the North American Cement Industry Annual Yearbook .
In addition, the intern may assist analysts with various ad hoc analysis and reports.
Essential Skills and Experience
Education : Pursuing Bachelor's degree in : Economics, Statistics, Mathematics
Experience : Must be enrolled in a 4 year degree program beyond Freshman level.
Skills / Knowledge :
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite Office with emphasis on Excel.
- Strong communication skills.
Working Conditions
Position is fully remote; but candidates in the Chicago area are preferred for monthly in-person meetings.
