Job descriptionHigh School Diploma or GED 4+ years of journeyman-level experience in a large industrial setting Hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting in Electrical or Instrumentation & Control (I / C) Experience with preventive, predictive, and repair maintenance Operation of industrial equipment (forklifts, cranes, trucks, etc.) 2-year Technical Degree or Bachelor's Degree Experience in Utility Power Plants, Process Industry, or Petrochemical Plants
Instrumentation and Control Specialist (Combined Cycle)
This individual will be joining a team at a Power Plant in the Tampa Bay area to help ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of power generation systems. This role involves hands-on maintenance, system monitoring, emergency response readiness, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities include :
- Operate and maintain plant equipment safely
- Perform rounds, turnovers, and equipment startups / shutdowns
- Support emergency response and safety programs
- Collaborate with teams to meet energy demands
