As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal in an educational setting, you will conduct regular patrols throughout the location to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for students and staff. Sat 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an educational location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the building and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.

Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter potential security-related issues within the educational environment.

Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, students, and visitors, providing assistance and guidance as needed.

Prepare detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal policies and the location's procedures.

Work collaboratively with local authorities and first responders during emergencies or critical incidents as needed.

Minimum Requirements :

Must have at least two years of security-related experience.

Must possess a valid armed guard card or license.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
