As an Allied Universal Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in access control at a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents, maintaining a visible presence, and providing exceptional customer service with clear communication. What You'll Do : Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit. Assist visitors and personnel with entry procedures, providing customer service while upholding site-specific access control policies. Help to deter unauthorized access or activities through observation and prompt reporting of any unusual behavior or incidents. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner in accordance with location procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to observe and report any security-related concerns. Maintain thorough documentation of all access control activities, visitor logs, and incident reports as required by Allied Universal and client protocols. Communicate professionally with delivery personnel, employees, and visitors to address access-related inquiries and assist with logistics as needed. Remain alert and aware of surroundings to support a secure environment within the logistics and distribution location. Minimum Requirements : A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
