What You'll Do
As an IT Field Technician, you will provide critical onsite support for our office and restaurant teams across multiple QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) locations. Your role will involve troubleshooting and resolving software, hardware, and networking issues, along with supporting Point-of-Sale (POS) systems. You'll ensure uptime and system performance while delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support for software, hardware, and network-related issues at various restaurant and office locations
Troubleshoot and resolve POS system issues (experience with Aloha POS preferred)
Maintain and repair restaurant IT infrastructure including terminals, printers, routers, switches, etc.
Deliver outstanding customer service to restaurant-level staff and leadership
Collaborate with internal IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues
Maintain documentation for site visits, incidents, and resolutions
Support end-users remotely when needed
What We're Looking For
Minimum 2 years of experience in technical or field support roles
Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
Restaurant industry experience or hands-on user-level POS familiarity required
Familiarity with Aloha POS is highly preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office and general IT tools
Working knowledge of networking topologies, hardware setup, and operating systems
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-location environment
Additional Requirements
Strong organizational and time management skills
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Must be available for travel approximately 80% of the time, primarily in the Houston and surrounding areas, with periodic travel to Louisiana, Minnesota, Ohio, and New York
This position requires flexibility, including availability across weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed
Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, on-call as needed
Must pass a background check in accordance with local laws
