Description :

Seeking a Registered Nurse for a Med / Surg Neuro unit.

The role involves working with a patient ratio of 1 : 5-6.

Some weekend shifts are mandatory.

Floating to like units may be required based on facility needs.

No on-call duty is expected.

Navy scrubs are to be worn.

The unit has 24 beds.

Daily census averages 22 patients.

Interdisciplinary support is available, including IV teams and physical therapy.

Patient care involves various procedures including management of CVA and spinal cord injuries.

Skills required include phlebotomy, IV management, and wound care.

Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are preferred.

The selected candidate will be expected to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.
