We have a role in Stamford, CT for an Operations Manager!
Salary Starts :
$85,000 per year
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Tracking inventory for truck equipment, packing materials & needed repairs
- Ensuring trucks & crews are dispatched with no issues
- Updating driver / mover availability
- Assigning which trucks are used on jobs, making the calendar as efficient as possible
- Communicating with the sales team as truck & mover availability fluctuates
- Focused on HERE & NOW tasks. Not worried about sales or previous customer complaints.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Must have at 2 least years of operations experience in the moving industry.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations, general truck upkeep, and delegating tasks to dispatchers & drivers.
- Ideally someone who can innovate the current system
- Has familiarity with Moving CRMs and can learn the company's unique CRM quickly
- Detailed orientated and great at documenting inventory lists, truck repairs needed / fulfilled, and packing materials
