ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliberate with management, operations, and sales staff on requirements and
procedures for a project
Organize and manage projects, designs, and operations and engineering
teams, making detailed plans that work towards the fulfillment of a set objective
Examine technology and tools for inclusion into the organization’s solution
offerings and internal use
Assemble, maintain and improve the operations and engineering division’s
processes, templates and deliverables
- Direct, evaluate, and confirm solution designs and changes
- Recruit, assign, direct, and evaluate employees within the operations and
engineering department
- Supervise the development of staff abilities and suitability in the organization
- Develop designs, estimates, SOW’s, proposals, schedules and other
documents and deliverables
Set technical and performance goals in the confines of the organization with the
aid of management
- Assemble status and other reports and results for management and clients
- Develop and implement policies, standards, and procedures for the operations
and engineering and technical work performed in the organization
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge / Education
Bachelor’s degree or extensive experience in project management within the
construction industry
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possess sound logic, reasoning, and decision-making skills
Job Experience
- 5+ years of operations and engineering / design experience
- Experience in corporate environment highly desired
Skills / Competencies
Ability to use independent judgment in ensuring smooth operations of
organization
- Multi-tasking skills critical
- Proficient skills with MS Office, Bluebeam, AutoCAD and survey and estimation
tools required
Attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate deliverables and high levels of
quality
- Must be flexible, team oriented, self-starter, and able to work independently
- Must be well organized, and possess good customer service skills
- Able to perform new tasks without detailed guidance
