Customer Service Representative
Location : Commerce, GA
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM- 4 : 00 PM (on-site, full-time)
Pay Range : $23 - $25 / hr
Overview
A manufacturing and distribution company is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join its team in a fast-paced, professional office environment. The person in this role will be responsible for delivering excellent customer care, managing order-related communication, and supporting internal coordination across departments.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working collaboratively to ensure customers receive accurate, timely, and professional service. This position is available due to an internal promotion, and the company is seeking to fill it quickly, with an anticipated start in early December.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently within the ERP system.
- Communicate with customers via phone and email regarding order status, pricing, and general inquiries.
- Partner with production, shipping, and sales teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Review purchase orders for accuracy, confirming part numbers, pricing, and quantities.
- Manage returns, credits, and replacements in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of customer communications, orders, and account activity.
- Support data entry, reporting, and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and support overall team efficiency.
Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in customer service, administrative support, or a related role.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Visual, or comparable platforms is helpful.Previous experience in a manufacturing or distribution setting is preferred, but not required.Compensation & Schedule
