Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a full-time Special Education Teacher for the 2025 / 2026 school year, serving kindergarten through 2nd grade in a self-contained elementary classroom. This in-person contract position is based in Shelbyville, Tennessee, offering a direct impact on early learners requiring specialized instruction.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver individualized instruction aligned with students IEPs and developmental needs in a self-contained classroom setting.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to support student progress.
• Implement evidence-based teaching strategies and behavior management techniques.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student performance and municate progress regularly.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment that encourages student growth.
