Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role based in New Orleans, LA. The LPN will provide direct nursing care to clients with mental health disorders, substance use conditions, or developmental disabilities. Daily tasks include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, collecting patient data, maintaining accurate records, and assisting in treatment plans under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians. The LPN will also ensure the delivery of compassionate, patient-centered care in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Licensure and Certification : Must possess a current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Louisiana. CPR certification is required.
• Clinical Skills : Proficiency in administering medications, monitoring vital signs, documenting patient information, and providing direct patient care.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills : Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
• Organizational and Time Management Skills : Capable of managing multiple tasks, maintaining accurate medical records, and working efficiently in a dynamic clinic environment. Willing to periodically rotate clinics
• Experience : Prior experience in mental health, addiction services, or developmental disabilities care is preferred but not required.
• Education : Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Other : Basic computer skills for electronic medical records (EMR) and documentation tasks.
