Job descriptionAssist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes in accordance with PCAOB U.S. GAAP. Lead the preparation of financial filings with the SEC and other regulatory agencies as necessary, notably forms 10K and 10Q Support Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL) modeling, documentation, and reporting. Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and support schedules. Reconcile loan portfolios and related interest income, fees, and reserves. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including cash, debt, and equity activity. Assist with internal controls, documentation and implementation of process improvements. Collaborate with the treasury function on cash flow forecasting and liquidity reporting. Support external auditors with audit requests and quarterly review procedures. Participate in ad-hoc financial analyses and special projects as needed. Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience CPA / MBA is a plus, but not required. Minimum 3-6 years of accounting experience, ideally with a mix of public accounting and corporate experience. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP; experience with loan accounting, CECL methodology, and fair value measurements preferred. Demonstrated technical expertise (specifically ASC standards and SEC regulations) Proficient in Excel and accounting systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks, or similar). Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a small, high-performing team environment.
