Hospitality Lead Job Description
The Hospitality Lead is responsible for leading the Hospitality team in baking our signature vegan cupcakes for all Partner appreciation, Client, Donor, and Volunteer needs.
Team members assist with planning and preparing catering meals, as well as cupcakes, for events throughout the year. Leads are required to facilitate monthly team meetings, facilitate monthly baking days, and volunteer five hours per week.
In office requirements vary.
Reports To - Branch Manager
Principal Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare our cupcakes for all Partner, Donor, Client, and events needs.
- Plan and prepare menus for special events.
- Maintain ingredient inventory and restock supplies as needed.
- Coordinate and schedule monthly baking days.
- Connect with the Partner Engagement Lead for Partner cupcake needs.
- Manage food preparation and clean up for all events.
- Connect with Hospitality Team members regularly via Podio and team meetings.
- Connect with new volunteers within a week of them joining the team.
- Lead Peer-to-Peer Fundraising team.
- Fill out weekly Lead check-in form.
- Attend scheduled Lead meetings.
- Connect bi-weekly with the Hospitality Lead in your sister city.
- Commit to 5 hours per week of concentrated work in your role.
