Join Lockheed Martin Aeronautics' cutting-edge team at the Advanced Development Programs (Skunk Works®) in Palmdale, California, as a full-time Subsystem Design Engineer.

Your role will involve everything from developing and validating new designs to troubleshooting malfunctions, all while collaborating with a diverse array of teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities for this position may include :
- Develop, test, and validate new and modified subsystem designs
- Troubleshoot system malfunctions to determine root cause and corrective action
- Create and maintain 3-D CATIA models, assemblies and installations, system requirements, interface / supplier control drawings, performance specifications, system checkout procedures and statements of work
- Create system requirements, trade studies, sub-component and flight test plans
- Coordinate with suppliers, internal and external integrated product teams, management and the customer
- Support manufacturing, ground / flight test and customer operating locations
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
