Automotive Technician (Gas Vehicle Specialist – Diesel Training Provided)
Location : Westminster, MD
Hours : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM
Experience : 3+ years (the more, the better)
Compensation : $28–$35 / hour + performance-based year-end bonus

The team of ASE-certified technicians handles everything from routine maintenance on daily drivers to complex diagnostics on high-performance and diesel vehicles.
The shop services gasoline and diesel vehicles up to F550s , including both personal and light commercial trucks. With a steady workflow and supportive environment, this is a great opportunity for an experienced technician looking for stability, growth, and hands-on learning.
Position Overview
The shop is seeking a skilled automotive technician with a solid background in gasoline-powered vehicle repair who is eager to learn diesel systems . The right candidate will work alongside experienced diesel technicians and receive hands-on instruction in advanced repair and diagnostic techniques.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with 3+ years of experience who is ready to take their skills to the next level.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair a wide range of gas and diesel vehicles up to F550s
Perform standard maintenance including brakes, suspension, tune-ups, and fluid services
Use modern diagnostic tools such as Autel, Snap-on, and Ford IDS scan equipment
Assist with drivetrain and engine work under supervision as skills advance
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
Communicate effectively with the service advisor and fellow technicians
Participate in ongoing diesel training (fuel injection, DEF, and emissions systems)
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of professional automotive experience (more is preferred)
Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with repair software such as Mitchell 1
Willingness to learn diesel diagnostics and repair (Cummins, Power Stroke, Duramax)
ASE certifications or equivalent experience preferred
Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
Compensation & Benefits
Pay : $28–$35 per hour based on experience
Bonus : Year-end performance-based bonus
Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM (no weekends)
